Prepare dedicated dam safety surveillance guidelines on the various aspects of dam monitoring in order to obtain optimal benefit from the data acquired by means of dam safety monitoring. The following aspects would be covered in a series of Dam Surveillance Bulletins:
- Methods for the improvement of the quality and reliability of information
- Data processing and representation techniques
- Effective diagnostic analyses to determine behavior patterns
- Dedicated surveillance systems for the optimization of maintenance-, rehabilitation- and other life cycle costs
- Selected case histories
